I don’t know about you but I am so excited to embark on this month-long focus on the book of Proverbs. Each chapter of this book is chocked full of such powerful and practical daily advice for me to navigate through today’s world. I wish I could just saturate myself in this litany of powerful advice. There are so many people who I have met over the years that I walk away from saying ‘that person is truly wise”. I appreciate those who are very smart but I have always been drawn to those with mature wisdom. It is comforting to follow those who exemplify true wisdom. As we walk through Proverbs together it is our prayer that each of us will experience it in a new, personal, and powerful way. Proverbs has so much to teach us all and is especially helpful in what feels at times like a very mixed-up world.
My prayer is that you will join us as we walk through this collection of 375 powerful proverbs and that together we can acquire the true wisdom that Proverbs speaks of. A wisdom based on one consistent theme: the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
