Maybe you work Monday – Friday or have staggered days. But no matter what your work schedule looks like, most of us don’t look forward to using our hard earned down time to catch up on our to do list.
If you’re looking to use more of that time to rest or reset here are some things to do during the week that will help give you that time!

1. Follow the 10/30 rule
Take 10 extra steps or 30 extra seconds to do it right the first time around.

2. Adopt a 20 minute daily cleaning routine
Divide all the work you would usually do on Saturday morning into about 20 minutes each day.

3. Dedicate certain errands to less-busy days or weeknights.
If you schedule some of our errands at times when other people aren’t doing them, you’ll save time.

4. Front-load your meal plan template
Save the lower-lift plans like ordering takeout or eating left overs for the weekends.

5. Plan your week in advance.

6. Set up a “go-back” bin.
Set up bins in as many rooms of your home as you need to, drop the things that feel messy or out of place in there.

7. Set boundaries during the week.
If you know something is a distraction for you, taking steps to curb that issue is the first step towards conquering it.

8. Practice cutting yourself some slack!
