This was something that was almost always at our summer gatherings. I remember my mom making it and urging me to try it. i said “there’s too many things I don’t like on it’! But I finally tried it…and I LOVED IT!! Thanks, mom. Your memory lives on in the recipes you shared. So I’ll say it like my mom…”you’ve GOT to try this”!!


  • 1 brick-style cream cheese softened to room temp
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet of premade taco seasoning
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • ½ cup chopped orange pepper
  • 1 cup tomatoes (chopped, seeds removed)
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • 1 ¼ cup finely shredded Mexican-blend cheese
  • Corn chips for serving


  • Combine softened cream cheese and sour cream in a large bowl and stir together until smooth
  • Spread mixture evenly onto a pizza pan
  • Sprinkle with taco seasoning packet
  • Top mixture with onion, pepper, tomatoes, shredded cheese then olives
  • Serve immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve
