November 17th is National Bread Day so I thought we should celebrate with a bread recipe! This recipe came from Front Desk Abbi.

I had always wanted to try my hand at making bread but was intimidated. This recipe made it SO easy and was SO good. It makes 4 loaves but sometimes I halve it and just make 2. It is easy to customize and add things like cinnamon & sugar to make cinnamon bread!

INGREDIENTS:
4 cups of warm water
4 tsp yeast
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup honey
4 tsp salt
10-12 cups flour (start low and add more, shouldn’t be overly sticky)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix yeast, honey, and warm water together and let sit for 10 minutes. You want to see it foamy before proceeding.
Add the rest of the ingredients to yeast mixture and knead well. Put in a bowl and cover with a towel.
Let sit in a warm place for 1 hour (oven with the light on works great).
Punch down the dough then separate into four. Roll out and shake and place in bread pans.
Let rise one more hour in pans and then bake for 30-40 minutes at 360 degrees.
