Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Some days just CALL for soup, don’t they? This is that kind of season and this is one of those soups! You’ll want to print it and stash it away so you can make it again! Just like one of our long-time listeners Jennifer. (She actually reminded me about this recipe while we were at Unity Music Festival) It’s SO easy and makes you feel SO cozy.

Ingredients
·      50oz Chicken Broth
·      2 cups water (might need more…check as it goes)
·      2 cups cooked chicken shredded (or rotisserie chicken)
·      1 package of Rice-a-Roni long grain and wild rice
·      ½ tsp salt
·      1 tsp pepper
·      2 cups sliced carrots (I just bought the crinkle ones)
·      1 cup diced celery
·      1 cup chopped onions

Directions
Put everything in a large pot (even the seasoning packet)
Cook on medium for 3 hours or the crockpot on low for 6 hours
