This was something that was almost always at our summer gatherings. I remember my mom making it and urging me to try it. i said “there’s too many things I don’t like on it’! But I finally tried it…and I LOVED IT!! Thanks, mom. Your memory lives on in the recipes you shared. So I’ll say it like my mom…”you’ve GOT to try this”!!

Ingredients

  • 1 brick-style cream cheese softened to room temp

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 packet of premade taco seasoning

  • ½ cup chopped green onions

  • ½ cup chopped orange pepper

  • 1 cup tomatoes (chopped, seeds removed)

  • ½ cup sliced black olives

  • 1 ¼ cup finely shredded Mexican-blend cheese

  • Corn chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine softened cream cheese and sour cream in a large bowl and stir together until smooth

  2. Spread mixture evenly onto a pizza pan

  3. Sprinkle with taco seasoning packet

  4. Top mixture with onion, pepper, tomatoes, shredded cheese then olives

  5. Serve immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve
