The Good News

As we journey into lent, we at JOY99 want to invite you to join us in sharing the news that Jesus lives with your neighbors by displaying an Easter Cross yard sign and sharing the message of the cross!

You can pick up a cross for FREE at one of our pickup locations which can be found HERE.

We encourage you to also join us in praying over the crosses around town and those that will see them and learn the sacrifice that was made for them.

 Curious about the Cross?

Did you know you were created by God to be in relationship with God [Colossians 1:16]?
But, you rebelled and fell miserably short of being a good person [Romans 3:23]. This is called sin.

We deserved death for our sins, but God demonstrated his love for us and that while we were still sinners, Jesus died for us [Romans 5:8]. Another way the Bible says this is that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus [Romans 6:23].

The Good News?
If a person receives and believes in Jesus, they become a child of God. They are a new creation and their relationship with God is restored.

The way to believe in Jesus is by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is the Lord of your life, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead [Romans 10 9-10].

We believe that because you scanned the code on the cross, Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart and wants to come in. However, you have to open the door. Will you open the door of your heart to Jesus today, and let Him become the Lord over every area of your life?

If so, pray this prayer.
Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins, and that God raised you from the dead. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart to you. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank-you for saving me. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer and want to be connected to a local church, you can call Pastor Dave Roberts at 616-218-0783
