Conversations
I’ve been loving the heartfelt conversations lately over on the This Lyric, That Truth Podcast and I invite you to try out an episode, especially if you haven’t had a chance to hear one yet. I loved talking with my husband, Pastor Dave about going deeper in our prayer life. Since we talked actually, I have been using his method of praying through the Lords Prayer every day, and stopping down when the Holy Spirit emphasizes something to sit in. Lately, I’ve been camping out in “give me today my daily bread” part.
I connected with Dr. Chris and Alisa Grace who share their journey of marriage and their passion for teaching about relationships. They discuss their experiences as professors, how they met, the challenges of marriage, and the importance of communication and conflict resolution. The conversation highlights the Weekend to Remember conference, which aims to strengthen marriages through intentionality and connection. In this conversation, Chris and Alisa Grace discuss the importance of creating safe spaces in relationships, the restoration of hope in marriages, and the necessity of regular maintenance for lasting love. They explore the themes of isolation, entitlement, and the purpose of marriage, emphasizing the role of the Holy Spirit in fostering healthy relationships. Fun fact, there is a discount code for a future Weekend to Remember event embedded in the podcast!
Finally, I loved talking to Brooke about her recent trip to Africa, we discuss Brooke's transformative trip to Africa, where she visited CURE International Hospitals. They explore the challenges Brooke faced in deciding to go, the miraculous work done at the hospitals for children in need, and the profound impact of faith and community support. Through personal stories and experiences, they highlight the importance of overcoming obstacles, the power of healing, and the miracles witnessed during the journey.
