A little over a month ago, I told you all about the surprising fall and winter trend that every grandma would love…the return to crocheted cardigans.
Well this week I am reporting from Europe, Italy and Greece to be specific, and you just can’t believe all of the crocheted granny square items European designers are showcasing. You guys, crocheted everything is everywhere!
Beautiful granny square handbags, pants, scarves, dresses, skirts, hats, bikinis…If you can wear it, it’s bringing crocheted as I speak to you now.
As I told you last month, granny squares are pretty easy to make and it could be really fun to try and create some of these incredible items yourself. You can make dozens of squares and then decide what you want to do with them. In fact, you and your friends or family can make the squares and come together later to create something creative and unique.
I know I reported on this already, but seeing this trend everywhere in Europe forced me to double down on this tip! Learn to crochet y’all!!
