Have you ever dropped your compact or had your powder makeup explode during travel? Well you can save it. You don’t have to throw it away.
All you need is some rubbing alcohol, 70% will do, a sterile pointed or sharp tool, some time and a tissue.
Place all the broken pieces in your compact and break all of the powder into dust with a pointed tool.
Slowly pour a small capful of alcohol into compact at a time and stir the dust until you have a paste. You don’t want to over saturate with alcohol so go slow.
Once you’ve stirred enough to get a paste, smooth and fill the entirety of the compact and cover with a tissue.
Press the paste into an even pallet and let dry completely for a few hours.
The alcohol will evaporate and your compact with reform and be usable once again like magic!!
