We recently got a call from a woman who has a career that many would see as “just a job”, but she sees it as a ministry. She is a housecleaner.  And, in each house that she cleans, she spends time praying. Over the years, she has become friends with her clients, and has often been there for support when they have needed it.

God is concerned with us doing things well and honoring God in every area of our lives – that reveals what is in our hearts.
God wants our best, whatever that may be. Excellence in God’s sight isn’t being the best; it’s being your best.

If we lay up treasures that rust & rot away, and we have no treasure in heaven, what have we gained? If we gain the whole world & lose our soul, what have we gained?

The nature of work – to do as God created us to.
The purpose – to bring God glory.
The result – bringing God glory.

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” col. 3:17

So, does how you show up at work reflect God?
Do you love and serve those around you?
Are you late?
Are you honest?
Are you kind?

How do YOU view your job?
