How to Grow Your Own Easter Grass

I did this with my kiddos when they were younger and it is SO cool! All you’ll need is some wheatgrass, (or catgrass), soil, and the containers to grow the grass in. I used the bottom of an ice cream bucket and an easter basket.

  • Put a thin layer of pebbles at the bottom
  • Top with potting soil
  • Sprinkle on seeds
  • Top with a little soil
  • Water the seeds lightly and keep them moist
  • Put the container in a warm, sunny spot
  • Cover with plastic wrap until they sprout to help keep the setup moist and warm

Within just a few days, you’ll start seeing grass!
