My friend Caryn posted this pic on Facebook a few days ago and I just HAD to grab the recipe from her. I love fresh blueberries so much and she says this recipe is the BEST EVER! It was handed down to her mother from her grandmother…so it’s GOT to be good!

½ cup butter
1¼ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp soda
1+ cup fresh blueberries (if using frozen, thaw then pat dry with paper towel)

Preheat oven to 400. Cream butter and sugar. Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 35-40 minutes or until completely set. As bread starts to brown, add foil to top or edges to keep from burning.
